I was thinking more along the lines of humanitarian aid( food, water & medical supplies ). Stuff that would actually help, not a military response. I don't know why you quoted my comment " Why aren't we helping people? " and then go on to bring up carpet bombing people as if that's what I meant. You mentioned genocide and atrocities as the issues you were concerned about, so I thought military response was a reasonable interpretation since it's the sort of help that would actually do anything about that. Carpet bombing was a tangent on Ted Cruz, because it's never a bad time to attack Ted Cruz. Sorry Puddi, I misunderstood you. Yeah, it does concern me. It sucks, and I find myself in a difficult position because I want us to help them. But, I'm not sure what's the best course of action. Do we use military force? Or, do we supply the population and refugee camps with food, water and medicine and stay out of it. Allowing the local population to sort things out themselves. I'm not a politician, and I'm not really all that smart. Maybe, I should just shut up. All I know is a fuck ton of people are going through hell and it breaks my heart.
