I've heard SJWs being referred to as "online injustice collectors" by left-wing boomers, and it got me thinking that SJWs don't really give a shit about social justice—they just give lip service to social justice. What it's really about is pumping up their own egos w/ a minimal amount of effort.

The fact is that SJWs are more akin to trolls than activists.

I don't know her name. I know she's referred to as Quiggly Puff.

I feel sorry for her.
Her prospects of getting a job are ruined by that video and the subsequent ridicule.
She might grow out of this phase, but the world will always see her as the woman who lost her cool when her beliefs were challenged.

If she doesn't grow out of this phase. Well. I have even more reason to feel sorry for her.

Here is what I think of them. They are fake and selfish. They are no better than people who bully gays, women, people of different skin-colour, and all that. The only difference is that they can claim they are doing it to help people. Which is, in part, true. You can't really criticize someone who fights for gay rights and all that. SJWs fighting for stuff like that is just a picture they like to paint of themselves, though. To make themselves look like great people. Especially in social media. Scoring "Likes" seems to be very important. But their tactics seem to just be to attack people harshly. Even people who actually agree with them. Personally I am against bigotry of any kind. But I am also against bullying. And SJWs are bullies. I suspect a lot of them are very bitter people. Life seems to have "wronged them" somehow, and now they have a way to lash out without being called out for their bullying. External target for internal rage.

I also question their tactics lately. Given the Beamdog stuff with the transgendered character. Most gamers, like myself, have no problems with transgendered characters. As long as a character is well written, it is all good. So I guess a Character that is transgendered, is better than a transgendered character. Anyway. What the writer, in this case, decided to do was to reduce a character to a political add. While her motivations might be good and true, the effects might not be good. She basically "grabbed" a group of people and stuffed them right in the spotlight in order for herself to be presented as some paladin of Social Justice.

I think a lot of SJWs need to think about the effects of their tactics. I have noticed that it can cause a lot of collateral damage to the people they are trying to "protect". I saw one post from a transgendered gamer over at Beamdog last month, and it stuck with me. It went something like this. "Amber Scott and Beamdog have put on the fireman-uniform to protect us. But they are oblivious to the fact that their firehose is spraying gasoline. Please stop".

I think, in a lot of cases, SJWs can do way more harm than good. If you manage to, as a SJW, to get your voice and opinions heard by many...I dunno. Think things through before you act. Don't play the "bigot card" as a default. Try to actually listen to other people too. It does no harm.
