I've seen a number of people dismiss the men's rights bit because women's issues are "institutionalized" into what is known as the "patriarchy" so therefore there's nothing wrong with writing off issues men have in society. It's a double standard that gets brought up with racism as well and I admit it kind of is annoying. Seems like a lot of points of discussion people bring up can be outright ignored because of over generalization which is pretty hard to argue against. Yeah. You're right. Men's Rights Activists will become more numerous. Curiosity is part of human nature. When people encounter ideas different to their own, many will dismiss, however there will be those who will ask questions. The popularity of MRA will grow as people realise that there are injustices against men. I see injustice against all demographics. I think all movements striving for equality are more good than bad. Then again, I like to see the good in everyone. I'm a hopeful guy and I think that most social justice and egalitarian causes (be it MRA, LGBT awareness groups, anti-racism groups, Amnesty International, Feminism, disability charities etc) are for the greater good. I however will never be in favour of "safe spaces" or having people fired from their jobs for having different views. I also feel frustrated when a hand full of feminists try to shut down MRA meetings. I wish MRA's and Feminists realised that both groups want the same thing. Feminists (well most feminists) want equality for both sexes but focus on women's issues. Men's Rights want equality for both sexes but focus on men's issues. Both men and women are at the receiving end of sexism. I personally feel that it is in the best interests of both groups to work together.
