Eh, I think people really overstate how bad things are right now. 

If you look at the things that matter, the numbers, jobs, economy, etc etc, the United States is doing relatively well. We are more and more progressive and accepting. Now we are undoubtedly being held back by a very vocal, and very conservative portion of people that consistently vote, but on the whole, we are improving.


A democrat is going to win 2016. It is fairly guaranteed at this point.  You will see the country continuing on the road set in place from the last few years. all in all, I am very confident of our future as a nation.

Well I'm Canadian so when it comes to American politics all I really see is everybody arguing about which is better between far right, or slightly less far right =P

Although it does seem like it would be bad if Trump won.

I still don't get this whole right wing = bad thing but even then if you consider someone like Bernie right leaning than you might need to reassess things.

If I were American, and it was between Hillary or Trump, I'd pick Trump any time. Hillary Clinton is human garbage, at least Trump has charisma.

Man Trump is not even a serious candidate. If you have to choose between human garbage and a charismatic fool, the human garbage will probably leave you better off. 

The things he says don't make any sense, and there is this terrifying nativist element to his campaign. Man if Trump took office(he wont) there is a very real threat we could end up in a bad situation. And I don't just mean financially.
