That's equally a dig at Kojima. True, given how MGSV turned out in the end not all of that was purely Konami's fault and I disagreed with a lot of design decisions with that game and that is on Kojima. It's just the key to a good developer/publisher relationship is being able to establish restraints when it comes to budgeting, marketing and etc. Which is why it turned out the way it had as the new Konami management decided that Kojima was spending too much and decided to act in the way they had and there's the whole pachinko business that they seem more interested in these days, explaining why they get so much bad press lately. So yes I think Kojima deserves some criticism himself, but Konami deserves it a lot more.
