Have anyone thought about how Kylo's lightsaber looks... undefined or "whole"? I mean, take a look at these lightsabers






Now take a look at Kylo's..





Kylo's lightsaber reminds me of EU stories of people trying to replicate Jedi lightsaber but couldn't quite get it right. These "bootlegged" lightsabers would be VERY unstable and could actually cause harm to the wielder with the beam of light flicking and whipping around like crazy and not staying contest and straight. Do you think Kylo is running around with a bootleg lightsaber?

Yes. I believe such has been officially confirmed or heavily implied from an official source, but don't hold me to it. It's very likely to say the least, because there is (in theory) no one left other than Luke who could teach someone how to make a lightsaber. Kylo's lightsaber and Anakin's lightsaber (the one Luke lost on Cloud City) could very well be the only two lightsaber's in existence at this point in time (Luke likely left his RotJ lightsaber on the second Death Star). Kylo's ligthsaber is definitely the result of a lot of trial and error, maybe even done at The First Order's expense.

Kylo's mask looks more like Revan's than Vader's

As a giant Clone Trooper fanboy I hope The First Order is up to par.
Especially Captain Phasma.

And Kylo being a huge Vader fan is something I can get behind.
In regards to his Lightsaber being a "Bootleg" I believe that to be true.
Recently the Force FX version came out in Retail, and watching several videos with it (Don't own it yet. But I really want too). It very clearly makes a less...Refined (for lack of a better word) sound than a traditional lightsaber (comparing it to my own Darth Vader Force FX). More crackly and such.

It´s still dangerous to fight with a lightsaber that isn't properly made. Sooner or later, it´s gonna get him
