Why do they call it "Planned Parenthood"? I don't get it. I would have called it "Unplanned Parenthood". Obviously they didn't plan to have the baby, if they're having it aborted. This is not an anti-abortion stance. This is merely me questioning the wording. Well they do handle other things besides abortion, but I believe it is so named because technically couples are "planning" when they would want to become parents. "Unplanned Parenthood" can also be used to explain any actual births in general though. "We weren't planning on having kids, but it just happened anyway..."  Fair point. |
