This looks like a total mess due to throwing absolutely EVERYTHING into a single movie. I think their impatience in just completely skipping all the build up that the MCU did before doing their massive Avengers movies will end up biting them in the ass big time. Unless reviews and word of mouth is overwhelmingly negative, this one is probably gonna make a lot of money purely due to the massive marketing campaign behind it and on name recognition, but I don't know... what about the movie after? And the one after that? I'm not terribly optimistic that this venture of getting their own cinematic universe rolling is going to go all that far. I agree, but I think the films will always make enough to be profitable because of the brand (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman). I'd like to cite what is widely considered the shittiest Batman film of all time, Batman and Robin, it had a budget between $125-$140 Million and it made $238.2 Million at the box office. If a film like that, which was a sequel to another of the worst Batman films, can pull in a profit, then so can Batman V Superman and the Justice League films. It's just too bad that they rushed it instead of giving us (the fans) the Batman Vs. Superman movie that we needed and deserved. Unless Batman V Superman is 3-4 hours long, it will be a clusterfuck. There are simply too many characters that are going to be on screen. Even if the appearances are cameos, you have to figure that they'll probably get a couple minutes of screen time each (if not more) which won't bode all that well for a 1 1/2 to 2 hour film. At this point we have: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, (not) Lex Luthor, Mercy Graves, Doomday, Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman, Darkseid, Alfred, Lois Lane, and a rumored Joker appearance; that's 12 major and side characters that'll need some significant screen time (Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg will depend if they decide to do a brief origin type thing for them). Furthermore, everything that I've seen in the trailers look more akin to a parody than an actual superhero film, but maybe that's just me.
