I ... I am really torn about this movie. Batman was the first superhero I got interested in, though mainly through Tim burtons mvoies and The Animated Series. Superman however...not even the 70ties one really made me like him... But I hope BvS will make a return to the Batman I liked. Not the bland and rather dull Nolan-One, and not the other extreme from Schumacher. But a Batman in a dark yet also insane universe that embraces, not denies where it came from. And no "reality" pelase anymore. Yet that trailer...and the direction with Wonder Woman and Aquaman shoehorned in to set of a Cinematic Universe from zero to hundred in one-two movies? Not really sure I like it.In fact suicide squad gives me more hope that Batsy will be on track again in a cool mostly nolan-free universe P.S. Doomsday looks like the cavetroll from Lord of the Rings ... And this (bolded) is really my big concern at this point. This movie is going to introduce (not include, but INTRODUCE) the following characters: m.imdb.com/title/tt2975590/fullcredits/cast?ref_=m_ttfc_3Batman Lex Luthor Aquaman Wonder Woman Doomsday Cyborg Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) Flash Star Sapphire (Carol Farris) Joker (possibly) ...and possibly others. I mean... WTF? This is as if Marvel tried to make an Avengers movie right after the first Iron Man. Sure, comic book fans will all know most of these characters, but without any sort of development, they run the risk of just being cardboard cutouts that are thrown on screen just to be there. That's my problem with WB/DC right now. They are trying to pull Marvel's success out of a hat, instead of taking a slow, methodical approach to building their universe. Which is frustrating, because they have a great framework in their DC tv shows, but they are completely ignoring them to start a different fictional universe, splintering a possible combined fanbase.
