Experimenter
An eye opening biopic of Stanley Milgram, the professor that conducted the Obedience to Authority experiment in the 1960s at Yale. Highly informative and controversial, especially in the assertion implication that American society is creating individuals prone to carrying out the wishes of a malevolent leader if one ever came to power. Its very stylistic. Many of the scenes use false looking special effect backgrounds to enhance the idea of history, a different time, and perception, but the most entertaining aspect is its use of the main character, Stanley, played by Peter Sarsgaard, who breaks the forth wall, and narrates events in the film, sometimes addressing the audience directly while on camera as scenes play out around him.
