I'm no economist so not particularly qualified to talk about specifics of these policies (of course neither are you), but at least they have working models that exist in the real world today, unlike the libertarian fairy tale that doesn't exist outside of an Ayn Rand novel.

Also, I'd be interested to see this "working model" that you speak of. Would it resemble that of Greece?

You are aware that this health care system you praise in other countries has people dying while they wait for health care, right? That isn't a major problem in the US, though it will be soon if we don't repeal the Unaffordable Care Act.

I don't know much about the education in these other countries, but I do know that a "college education" in the US does not actually benefit most people. Colleges are only really useful for specialized professions, such as medicine or law. But all that aside, the only reason college is so unaffordable in this country is because of the government subsidizing student loans, which results in prices being raised.

US military spending has barely increased at all in the last ten years, while entitlement spending and other destructive nonsense has increased astronomically. While some minor military cuts might be reasonable, the bulk of the problems we face come from redistribution of wealth (read: robbery at gunpoint) combined with crony capitalism and crippling economic restrictions.
