Hell when I've done that in the past it has turned into hour long debates and discussions. Imo telling the door to door religious converters that I'm atheist is like the worst possible thing to say if you want to get rid of them

Oh yeah never met one that was rude, even if they're hard to get rid of. My issue is I like to engage people too much

My favorite was there use to be people on the streets that would hand out these religious comics I'd read. One had a child who was miserable and depressed who renounced God, and then he went to hell and it actually showed him having his flesh melting off as he burned in a lake of lava, but then he came back to life and accepted God and was all happy and such. The back of the comic was filled with photos of happy people singing in a community

Haha yeah. Humans sure like to feel special. For me I just take the route of being a skeptic. I don't believe in something until it can proven, though I certain can't disprove it either. The existence of God cannot be proven false, that's pretty much an impossible task. But until I see evidence I won't change my world view of it and unfortunately I've never been convinced by the "look at the trees and the birds and how perfectly the banana fits the hand and so on and so forth" arguments
