I've been asking for a spin-off film of Vader hunting down the Jedi ever since Episode III came out. I'd be up for that and an Imperial Commando game that is not for the phone (seriously, Imperial Commando was made, but it was a shit phone game: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Republic_Commando:_Order_66_(video_game) )

There was a discussion had at LucasArts about making a Darth Vader centered game, but they went with The Force Unleashed instead.

Maul surviving was fucking stupid. Making him cry and beg for mercy when Palpatine defeated him later on was even worse.

Him surviving was stupid, I agree with that.

I disagree with him begging and crying being worse though, it actually made sense because he knew what was coming or rather knew to fear what was coming. After all Palpatine had raised him and time and again he got to witness what happened to those that dare cross him. Palpatine's Force Lightning is ridiculously painful and powerful, remember how it made Luke scream and cry out? The worst part is that the level of pain dished out by the Lightning isn't even consistent, Palpatine amps it up gradually so that you suffer even more. Even the most hardened of badasses would likely beg for mercy should they know it was coming.

That. An Order 66 game where you play clone troopers sent out to track down and kill surviving Jedi would be epic if done right. Could even come with an expansion/DLC that let's you play Darth Vader in his own hunt.


Anyway there's far too few decent Star Wars material around that puts the Imperial side as protagonists. It's why (among other reasons) I adored the game TIE Fighter. THAT was a game from an imperial-centric point of view done well. We need more of that. Also, 1313. There's enough Rebel good guy stuff to drown people in already!

Sith begging and crying out for mercy is a constant. They're still people. 

Come to think of it. The only crybaby is Anakin, but he didn't beg either when he started to catch fire. So I am giving Vader half a point. So 1.5 out of 4 sith in the movies beg and cry.
