I can easily see it. They were really scraping the bottom of the barrel in some of the newer episodes. And they can't keep doing this for that much longer. People will really start suspecting Jamie of being an immortal walrus man. I stopped watching it about four years ago because of that reason. They just started doing silly pop-culture myths. I think they've always been butting heads. I always got the impression that they respected each other, but didn't really like each other. True, if you look at some of the early episodes you can actually see them having some serious disagreements on how things should go.they did a good job covering that up in later episodes (they even had a few documentary episodes were they explain it's just them joking around) however there are one or two were you could tell they needed to stop recording and give each other space. One of my former professors knew them because he's good friends with their original welder (I think her name was Scotty?) and he pretty much confirmed that Adam and Jamie didn't really like each other. As well as hinting at that being a reason Scotty(?) left.
