Just finished the campaign myself. I quite liked the way the finale and the aftermath were handled. Oh, and the story as a whole as well. There definitely could have been more meat to it, but I wasn't disappointed. Still dreaming about a serious big budget Shadowrun game, but I very much appreciate the games HBS gave us so far! I liked the companions, although I never once brought Racter and Koschei on a mission and Gaichu only twice (he was a beast though, especially when properly buffed). Wasn't a fan of the forced family dynamic with Duncan at first, but it worked out perfectly for the character I was playing. As for "kinda have a thing for"... yeah, I have to go with Gobbet on that. Liked her and Is0bel a lot, and they were always on my team due to me being a mundane non-decker. For a potential sequel they need to keep working on the magic and Matrix mechanics. I hate the new summoning mechanics (barely ever used it), and the new decking almost felt like a step backwards from what we previously had. There was ultimately not enough of the decker's actual skills involved in the hacking mini-game-thingies. Lots of room for improvement. The combat was okay. I appreciated how often I was given the chance to make it through situations without firing a shot, they did that very well! My character sucked at fighting for the majority of the game, mostly due to me not having money left for better weapons. Sometime during the last third of the game he got the monofilament-whip cybertech, and from that point on he became a certified killing machine. ^^' During the later parts of the game I had more and more problems with bugs. I had to miss out on some nice equipment I could have collected on the side, because I had to reload and trick my way around a door that kept me from entering or leaving a certain room. Once I had to replay parts of a mission, because when I tried to continue my game loading instantly ended with the 'game over' screen. There were some other hiccups, like with some dialogue options being wrongly (un-)available, and an NPC not having any dialogue options at all at one point. All in all I really enjoyed the game, and I'm very much looking forward to more Shadowrun games in my life!
