Who I was back 10-15 years ago, and who I am now are pretty different. The comedic nature and love for Nerdy Stuff haven't changed much, but the deeper bits have switched a bit. I got away with a lot of sick days, and was highly dependent on my family to get what I needed, or wanted. Living on my own was kind of a kick in the ass, but helped reinforce a greater level of independence and lighten my leechy history. It's also worth giving kudos to several people from BSN who helped encourage building more intellectual pursuits while still maintaining the same level of bat-shit craziness and general weirdness I ocassionally head into. Many of the BioWare games like Mass Effect helped open me up to more extroverted personality traits, since a lot of the adventure and roleplaying games I enjoyed in childhood often had little to no speaking roles, besides bludgeoning monsters with a pointy thing.
In conclusion, change is good...sometimes. I think?
