In the 70s / 80s we had late night TV ads for things like the Crazy Horse and strip clubs. But then in the 90s they vanished because it was "politically incorrect" and wrong. Why was it wrong? It's like the whole nudity vs violence thing. People go apeshit and lose their shit over nudity and boobies in a movie or in a magazine, and hell even in newspapers if they published photos of boobies people would be up in arms but all manner of violence seems to be OK, and even tolerated. Same in the movies. You can have lots of gunfights and blood and stuff but the moment a movie deals with boobies and nudity people lose their shit. Why is this?

I mean, maybe it's something different about the 70s and 80s, not something different about the 90s to now, and the 70/80s were more "wild" compared to the rest of our current global culture? I mean, I assume you are talking about North America, Australia, or the UK? Other cultures view violence as poorly as we view nudity.
