I'm enjoying it well enough. Noah Bennet was always one of my favorite characters from the original Heroes. The setting for Reborn seems almost like Days of Future Past minus the giant killer robots. Not really liking the Tokyo part of the story. I don't really know where they're going with it, and that girl's power is...weird. I really liked Bennet's character in the original, but his plot line just seemed really forced. "Here's entire scenes of exposition that doesn't have a prayer of making sense to anyone new to the series and will serve as a flimsy reminder of what's happened to those who watched the show!" The last episode was really good, interested to see what they do over the new two weeks. I also now really like Zachary Levi's character, I feel like he has become much more interesting after they wrote out his co-star. Whole previously he felt very "Russell Crowe" (you know, shooting people, hunting Evos and fight in' round the world!), his crisis of identity has really let the character stand up on his own two feet. And while the teleport kid has every cliche in the book used - LI that's just a friend, secret orphan with a destiny, powers with a destiny, secret protector to help him fulfill his destiny, government agents after him because of his unknown destiny, bully turns best friend, "I'm not a hero" response to his destiny, etc.... I still really like the kid. I can't put my finger on why, but I find myself always hooked by what's going on with him and where they are going. Contrast that with anime girl and the luchador, who I'm really checking out on. The concept of the Underground Railroad is cool, but I feel like they aren't doing anything with it other than just rehashing the same plot points every week. And the video game chick, while entertaining at times (Leeroy Jenkins me once, shame on you... Leeroy Jenkins me twice, shame on me) is becoming a let down. Although it may be over (depending on what certain events last episode really meant). Overall, I'll keep watching it, but I'm shifting my efforts to getting caught up on Gotham, which is every bit as good as everyone told me it was.
