for width: Admin Home> Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS> Visual Editor> Forum > Width > 100% increased the width of the forums to 100%
for darker theme: Admin Home> Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS> Visual Editor> Forum > Background Color > 000000

The issue with widening the root beer theme was it messing up the layout.

I also did the same for the darker version but it looked real ugly. I could probably do it so it looked nice but it would take a while.

So I fixed the 'scroll to first unread post' function in the Something Dark theme, I think.

If I broke something else in the process, reverting the change I made is very simple, since it wasn't even a full line of code that I added.

I also was able to widen Root Beer as a test, but the theme creator specifies that they don't want their theme being modified in any way, so I think it's best not to bother with that.

Though you can use a style sheet mod to widen it like I did before as a personal solution.

Also from what I can tell, the legend buttons in the SD theme are just a cosmetic feature and aren't meant to do anything when you click them. I believe the expectation is that we would set our group name colors to correspond with the colors on the legend.

We could either do that or simply delete the legend and keep the mods green like everyone else to keep this anarcho-syndicalist commune running like the former dear leader intended.
