^ Nah. The people with a pole up their ass that don't have any sense of humor or know how to take jokes had to ruin it. There was also things that were very likely genuinely racist, sexist and homophobic being posted, but nothing could be done because the line "I was just kidding" was brought up multiple different times. Racist, sexist and homophobic posts shouldn't be happening, people can believe or feel whatever they want, but leave that stuff at the door, you know? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now, but I still think it's bullshit. And as I said, you're going to have one hell of a job moderating us. You all know who the Ghosts are, and there's quite a few others round here who say stuff which people have found offensive and reported. The bans on the BSN didn't stop us nor did the warnings, it became a joke, that's what you're going to end up with if you somehow manage to adhere to this and listening to every person that squeals when they don't like what they read, it'll be a circle jerk and the forum will be dead. Frankly Vroom, how are you going to enforce this? Are you going to start banning people? You and Liam are going to police the board with us posting in multiple threads and time-zones? You know mods in the BSN didn't even slow people down. While you amended the rules even if they had been in force in their current form, I still would have mocked and satirised it anyway because I honestly don't care. People are going to throw a hissy fit regardless of what I say, so if I'm getting banned I'll do it laughing, just like I always do. |
