you misunderstand, my question is why does someone have to be streaming in order for it to be a community event? why cant people just pick a game and play it together? an the ones that arent playing can troll in the voice chat  They can still troll in the voice chat while the stream is going.  The whole point of streaming is to make those people feel included who are unable to play, either because they don't have the game, can't afford to buy the game or have other things to take care of but would still like to take part in the event in some small way. Nobody likes to feel left out. If a group of us played something without streaming it, then it would be more like a "private" event and it'd feel like the other VSNers weren't invited. That's when it stops being a community event. Yeah I agree. It was really fun that day to hear you guys talk to us at in the chat and vice versa. I liked it a lot. |
