La Jetée is a post-apocalyptic time travel story composed almost entirely with nothing but still images, music and narration.

My favorite performance by Hardy tbh (Locke and MM are up there too). Just before he hit the spotlight with Inception he was Bronson. A film based on events and life of real life prisoner Charles Bronson (Micheal Peterson) regarded as "Britain's Most Violent Prisoner". It's on Netflix and I believe it's on Amazon Prime as well for those who stream. Really a well put together film and Hardy's performance is just spot on IMO. It's worth a watch.
