The article agrees with your points on their nukes. But in a conventional fight, with the north firing Artillery and sending troops at the south, they are fucked.

Ill just add, the south has been defending the DMZ for 60 years now, it is designed to be as defensible as possible. The south Korean troops are of a much higher quality then what the North has to offer even at their best. As well the South can launch air from further away if they have to. Thats a huge benefit of having a modern air force. I highly doubt they have not taken into consideration the fact that the north will be targeting all military assets in range with concentrated artillery fire.

dude the mig 29 is DEFINITELY obsolete compared to what the south has in its arsenal. F 15k's and F 16 c's will be shooting down North Korean migs left and right, especially considering the north korean pilots have such little airtime due to lack of fuel to train.

Got to say I found the notion of PMC'S taking over the global conflict market sort of a poke at the various private armies around these days.

Which is fair I suppose, but inversely what are people like myself supposed to do? If you have no other trade beyond firing a gun, you will either be life long military or private sector doing the same thing.

Updating this again! Got a lot of news about ISIS happening.

First off, Iraq is finally able to use their new f-16s to bomb isis.

This is obviously good news. Remains to be seen how effective their air strikes will be. (They have the tools they need though, F-16 is advanced as fuck) 

There is also the ground game to consider, and the most effective force on the ground right now is the Kurds! Who are training for urban war. 

Air strikes are well and good, and can be a great tool for supporting the men on the ground but at the end of the day, its the infantry that will win this. Big fan of the Kurds, one of the huge road blocks to us supporting them is the idiotic Turks who consider them to be terrorists. I am certain by now all of you have heard that they started bombing Isis AND the kurds when they began their strikes. 

And in none middle east news, we are looking to commission a new stealth bomber 

I will admit I know next to nothing about Stealth bombers other then how deadly they are, and how awesome they look. 

There's no other way I'd rather die. It doesn't get any better.
