I'm with the ant argument here. No matter now long I spend, no matter what words I use, no matter how clear I make it, I cannot explain to an ant the concept of Super Smash Brothers. I just can't do it. It's impossible, even if I could somehow speak fluent Ant and knew everything about ant culture to make every reference and analogy possible... the ant can't understand a video game. It's beyond its scope. It cannot do it. If you honestly think you, as a human, have the comprehension to understand a being capable of ultimate power, knowledge and who has existed for billions upon billions of years (and the infinite time before), can count and track quadrillions upon quintillions particles and can understand the thoughts and motivations of every sentient being in the universe... well, you are flat crazy. Does that mean every religion can make up whatever because LOLUCAN'tuNdedSTANDgOD? No, of fucking course not. But that doesn't mean an infinite, omnipotent, omniscient immortal being is anywhere near human comprehension. God is said to exist in a place outside of time. I've always found that fascinating since everything in our lives is governed by time. We can't imagine living in a place where time is not a constant, and so we really don't know what could be possible in a place without it. Perhaps there is such a place beyond our universe and this is where God dwells. Of course it's all guess work and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Because God made it? I suppose at least. Whether that creation was in six days, was the result of the goddess of fertility jacking off the great spirit's Johnson or the slow and mind boggling expansion of an evolving universe is, honestly, not worth pickling a dick over, in my opinion. But if we can't comprehend God, then what makes us think we can comprehend his greatest decision (at least to our perspective)?
