Just started waching Narcos and it's great.

The one show I always try to get people to watch is Terriers. It's one of my absolute favourite shows, and (too) few people know about it. It aired on FX in 2010 and was cancelled after the first 13 episode long season. That one season however has a satisfying conclusion and is a great self-contained story. Sadly it was also never released on DVD, so you need to catch it on Netflix or such.



We follow Hank Dolworth (Donal Logue), an ex-cop and recovering alcoholic, and his partner Britt Pollack (Michael Raymond-James), a former small-time criminal, who work as unlicensed private investigators in Ocean Beach. They get by doing small, insignificant jobs, while struggling with their private lifes. Hank is still in love with his ex-wife Gretchen (Kimberly Quinn), who left him because he was a total mess, while Britt on the other hand finds himself out of his depth when the relationship with his girlfriend Katie (Laura Allen) grows more and more serious. 



One day Mickey, an old drinking buddy of Hank's, turns up in town, all washed-up and desperate, and asks him to locate his estranged daughter. Hank and Britt get to work and soon discover that she seemed to have been involved with big time real estate developer and local hero Robert Lindus. When Mickey is found dead of a drug overdose Hank is convinced of foul play from Lindus's side. After failing to convince his former partner from the PD, Detective Mark Gustafson (Rockmond Dunbar), of his suspicions he and Britt decide to take justice into their own hands. And from there on out the real trouble is only starting...



The actors are great, the writing is great, the pacing is great, the humour is great - pretty much everything about this show is great. Go watch it already! 

Series 3 of Miss Fisher will be available in October in the US and Great Britain/Europe

S3 sorta ruined Cosima for me. I hope she's back to her old self in season 4. But I can relate with her. Break-ups are terrible. Besides, she got sick and sicker. I enjoyed Alison and Helena this season. I hope the next season explores more between the chemistry of Alison and Felix, as I love them as a duo.

True Detective (the first season) -- Engaging crime drama, which is less about crime or a murder, as it functions more or less like a vehicle that drives the actual plot about gender politics and it's pretty good

Fargo - Based on one of my favorite films of all time, it takes the hard hitting dark humour of Fargo and deliver it perfectly on television where both Martin Freeman & Billy Bob steals the show

Better Call Saul - Pre-quel to Breaking Bad and it most certainly lives up to its legacy; As heartwrenchingly real and underlying funny as its father series, Saul is transitioning into its own kind of show while retaining what made BB good.

"Person Of Interest"

A reclusive computer genius (Michael Emerson) convinces a burned out but highly capable ex-CIA Operative (Jim Caviezel) to help him prevent crimes.
I seems we are being watched by a top secret computer system designed to spot terrorists before they can act. These people are dealt with by the government
However it also sees other potential threats as well. These people's SSN's are sent in code to the reclusive genius (who happens to be the system's creator)
Aided by two police detectives who don't know about the supercomputer (Kevin Chapman and Taraji P Henson) and later by a former assassin who does (Sarah Shahi), they are also hunted by various government agencies

The series really picks up however when Root (Amy Acker), a possibly insane and definitely dangerous hacker is added to the mix.

In addition to being available on DVD and Blu-Ray the first 3 seasons are now on Netflix

lol some of the older Dr. Whos were quite hippie and fabulous. The last one is a retro-style though.
