That was one of many reasons the thread began to drag. I'm fine with clop jokes in moderation, the pony thread was never meant to be super cereal every moment. However, it's gotten to such a point that it's the only thing people outside the topic would relate to with the MLP fandom, which is very unfortunate. The fan creations as an example are astonishing in quality.Only once in a blue moon will Hasbro's team knock it out of the park these days. Lullaby For a Princess and Ponies Anthology V are some recent ones.

As far as the show itself... I'm waiting for them to get back to doing what they do best. Bloom & Gloom and Make New Friends But Keep Discord were damned good, but so much of Season 5 were either logically-messy, poorly-written, or breaking their own lore. They're 5 Years in - that sort of thing isn't quite up to par considering they have 10 Million Bronies tuning in.

And the thread, well... that's up to the readers. Try giving people a reason to stop lurking and start speaking their minds.
