Do you love or hate your job? Would you rather work somewhere else? What's your dream job? Here's a thread to talk about anything work related. As for me, I work in a Veterinary Hospital and I don't like it at all. The animals are cute and they sometimes make my day, but it's a very stressful job. The only reason why I'm working in the veterinary field is because that's what I went to college for and studied. So for the longest time I felt like that was the field I had to work in. But at the end of the day, this is not the job for me now and it will never be. My dream is to go back to being a fossil preparator in a paleontology lab or to work at a museum. But for now, I have to stick it out until then.

But if I ever do get better, I plan on going back, otherwise I hope to find a kind man who will support and take care of me (if we are in love ofc!) in return of me doing everything else like cleaning and cooking and such and more ofc.. And oh yeah.. I'm allowed to say where I worked lol, just not what I did.

I was chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear specialist, CBRN or 74 Delta MOS. I ended up getting injured and discharged after only two years of service. I was really crushed because that was my whole plan. Started working graves a year after that (literally took me a year to find a job. Murica). Got laid off a few months ago. Unemployment sucks because no money but it's also glorious because I sleep when I want. Career's in limbo until I get some things sorted out in my life atm, but I can't wait to re-launch it again. Pretty excited about going out on boats, documenting, writing and taking part in our ecosystem. I plan to upload videos on my youtube channel of my work while talking about it.

But it's not my favorite job at all (I hate jobs about sell and buy, though I like working in supermarkets) and also isn't in my talent to "convince" people by talking.

Technically. But I'm actually roped into a lot of Data Entry work since I've got a senior doing most of the work and he can handle it fine. I'm kind of like an extra hand on deck if he's busy or if shit goes down mostly. So despite the occasional troubleshooting work, I'm mainly looking over data sets and account information between documents and databases to ensure there aren't any discrepancies as my job. It's quite boring.
