Don't misunderstand, I liked the movie very much. What makes you think killing off Wanda would be a good idea? It'd be pointless to kill her and Pietro off back to back, and in terms of big events Scarlet Witch is one of the single most important characters in Marvels canon. So killing her would only serve to be further Visions development. And Women in Refrigerators is a trope one tries to avoid.
The first thing Thanos does with the Infinity gauntlet is casually kill half of the Universe. So there you go, all the death you could possibly want ranking in the trillions.
Or just go DC's route and kill Superman but by making it Doomsday it's extremely obvious he'll come back right after. Being DCs most iconic story for Superman and all. For all the "risks" BvS took it seems the real risk was being predictable and poorly made. (Still not bitter)
1st of all, DC hella sucks
2nd, Wanda needs to die because she has no super-human toughness. Someone other than Cap (who has serum-armor) or Vision (who is more or less invulnerable) needs to bite it. Spidey & Panther are also very durable, but everyone else can be injured fairly easily.
3rd, Marvel doesn't have to follow the comics other than the name "Infinity War", they can kill their darlings. Just have to negotiate that PG-13 rating
