Long story: I first learned of the greatness in Sweden over a decade ago in a German class in high-school. We were talking about Scandinavia. It was a very interesting conversation and for some reason sweden peaked my interests. Germany used to be my #1 choice, however they have a real housing crisis and While i definitely support Germany and it's efforts and interests sweden stuck as an interesting place to see and maybe live. As time went on I learned a bit more about sweden by and by and it sounded increasingly better than Germany. I've never thought about moving abroad in a serious capacity to live and reside until the current debauchery of American values ensued.

Sweden doesn't seem to have a housing problem, has an interesting culture i'm interested in learning more about, the Idea of a Stuga is very similar to the idea of Cabins and Upnorthiness we have here in Michigan too. Which is nice. Among other things I've always gotten the impression they're very laid back and friendly. And their government is always willing to experiment for social benefit in the sciences, societally and in the economic area. It seems relatively stable and I like the language somewhat. Plus i like the Blue and Gold flag its very nice.

Iceland is a back up idea it would be nice to visit, If for some reason i can't get into Sweden the next 2 are Germany and maybe Austria (closest to where my Great Great Grandparents came from) but probably Norway or Iceland there after.

Worst case scenario I try for Canada or Australia.


Edit: Also it is in a very central location, the cities i'd most like to live in being Trelleborg or Malmo (Can't remember where the umlaut goes), but they're both like 3 hours away from Berlin, 30 from Copenhaggen and 4 from Stockholm which to me is amazing
