I hate to sound like I'm spewing nonsense but the Parkland students are nothing to the left but willing pawns for the gun control movement while simultaneously wrongly demonized by the right as fascists trying to grab all of their guns. Of course they've got to realize that surviving a school shooting doesn't mean you automatically know better than everybody else when they really don't. Some assholes doesn't justify stripping away the ability of millions of Americans to purchase semi-automatic guns or guns deemed "assault weapons" based on features like pistol grips and detachable magazines. They are rapidly coming off more as pretentious than victims of a criminal act.

As for spicy memes portraying them as Nazis nothing wrong with that in today's political zero sum game. It's just as justified as portraying the NRA as greedy monsters willing to shoot kids for money. That is both are acceptable or both are not.

Ignoring all else, and it's only opinion that the right in the current state is being accurately describes as fascist, if we drew horns it might be demonizing.

Can we really sit there and legitimately make a comparison such that Nazis ≤ greedy manipulative sons of bitches, in level of offense, and with reference to kids here? Like I mean... You do remember Nazis right? I mean... I'll be the first to admit saying the NRA ≥ terrosit organization is excessive but to describe it as greedy manipulative political organization does not seem... Inaccurate? I mean it does collect monies, it does use monies to manipulate politics and it does create propoganda ... So I fail to see how that's not accurate...

Now to sit there and say that protesting children are = Nazis for excersizing first ammended rights to assembly and speech... And they're advocating for less killing.... Something seems factually and ethically off about that.

And you can sit there and casually say "it's just the same as calling the NRA a greedy manipulative son of a bitch" essentially?

Like I love ya recon but I mean... Really please think hard about that incongruity.


And touching on the willing to shoot kids for money part: they have actively opposed serious legislation that would help.protect these children. If you're opposing serious legislation that attempts to increase public safety and your supporters are actively calling these kids Nazis...... It's really hard to see how you're not anti-child.

Gun control works in sweden. And I am dissapointed with the sudden lack of conversation about the topic it has gone the way all american conversations go now adays into the abyss of the media as we roll into more necessary ratings and other issues. I need to get out of this sinking ship because the intentional ADD is starting to get to me.

Recon's argument is lazy because he knows he is wrong and he likes guns and groups like the NRA who throw money around to keep kids getting murdered in cold blood.

Morn than the lives of kids. But he somewhat knows that's a bad thing to say bluntly. So he has to be a "realist" to cover up his views in a very lazy manner.
