Did they fire them did they uhhh.... like, what were the circumstances etc?
As a principle, the whole woman as a sexual object culture needs to go. Even if there is consent and the women don't really feel objectified, their whole kind of purpose is for just that.
However, it should not be at the expense of their jobs.
But this is not a binary choice.
You don't need to fire them, you can keep them doing their jobs, just not as scantily clad sex object.
Still, you could always say they have no skills aside from being that, they're being paid exactly for that... which you know... might PROBABLY be part of the fuckin' problem or just hiring women to be sexy.... you know... maybe?
But fine then.
Have Grid Hunks to be objectified with them. Not that I'd say it's the best solution, but it's a solution until things get better.
P.S
I'm for sex workers and strip clubs and stuff, but these institutions are particularly designed for 'sex', and doesn't necessarily need to belong to the sort of culture that surrounds grid/ring girls and stuff.
Cheerleaders are a big stretch. These girls train hard to do what they do, they're in a greyer area where their purpose is both objectification and entertainment. So I'm not sure where I stand here.
These are just random thoughts tho'
I really hope they weren't fired. But if they were, that's not 'feminism's fault' or whatever. That's the companies themselves treating their workers like shit unless they were forced by some new law.
I need more info, Fire-kun.
