Muslims just ignore it, much like Christians ignore the dumb shit in the Bible The process of brainwashing involves a lot of hate, that hate needs to be there before they can spam you quotes from the Quran and get you to kill for whatever. Once you hate something or an idea long enough, then ISIS could pour Spongebob quotes down your throat and you'll massacre a McDonalds in the name of Krabby Patty. They are brainwashing second gen immigrants though - living in England and the like. Young people who have been born and raised in England. If they had been raised in countries the US has bombed to shit, I could understand it. But this is a new kind of thing. Terrorists being produced out of english citizens. Something is really failing in society and the local communities when this is happening. Ignoring it won't make it go away. But that isn't anything new. A young troubled person doing something horiffic? Sure it's scary that it's through terrorist organisations, but these types are in the plenty. Not that excuses their actions, but it hardly makes for a case against Islam. There's not much in Islam that isn't different from Christianity. Both religions are pretty great and sucky at the same time. The problem is education, which majority Muslim countires can't access cos most of them are poor as shit and culture has remained stagnant because of it. Christianity has already had its dumb revolution with its fair share of blood shed in the process. In comparison, Islam is pretty young compared to Christianity and is currenly going through this in the historical sense but obviously the time it's occuring in leaves it wide open for everyone to see, plus Western involvement doesn't help. But to go into criticism and tolerance. First off, homosexuals are prosecuted like that in Christian Africa, again, poor as shit countries have a hard time educating their people. But then again, Russia does the same thing. Now, criticism of Islam to you would mean an open conversation about it, which, as Bo suggested, leads us to the same conclusions a critique on Christianity would bring. Not that it's pointless, but in combating Radical Islam - a real problem - an open conversation about it would cause the same aggravation an open conversation about Christianity would, therefore leading to further alienation to a entire ethnicity of people who feel alienated by the actions of people who kill in the name of their God. Still, let's say PJW's attack on the tolerant methodology is curbing our efforts to Radical Islam is true, allowing its ideology to spread. So the same guy who preaches hate for Islam seeks for open conversation with people who hold uncomfortable views on race, eugenics, and hint at cultural genocide to create a pure and white country? "So much for the tolerant left!" He scoffs as he soaks his Quran in oil to burn in some freak ritual. His hypocrisy and my sort of hyperbole aside, it's true that people are afraid to speak about Islam for fear of being categorised into the Milo group, but I'm sure a lot of Muslims are afraid to speak up for their religion to be categorised into the 'crazy Raghead' group as well because obviously if you stand for a 'hateful religion' you too are ready to blow yourself up for 83 donkeys and a coconut. And god have I heard enough 'any one of them could be brainwashed' to know this. Now wouldn't this whole thing go on a lot better if PJW's 'truth', aka, his 'critique' of Islam didn't involve slandering it? Making it sound weird and Other, cherry picking quotes to make it sound as evil as he wants it to be? His critique, and to date, any critique or conversation about Radical Islam hasn't make progress because his and his peers' idioctic vitrolic sperm bank of hate speech have made the conversation into what it is. Like shit, that woman in the report saying she saw some suspicious woman and reported to security? These people never even checked the bags, nothing was mentioned about tolerance, these security people were incompetent from the start. And I know because you need to be searched like you were boarding a plane to get into any club in London, let alone an Arianne Grande concert in Manchester. This was negligence on their part, but of course he uses this asinine example to propogate his views as actual supporting evidence of the danger of tolerance. God knows how many Muslim girls there were in that concert, let alone one who was smirking in the general direction of the fucking explosion. Could have been looking at a guy for all they know. I don't know how many times people need to disprove this guy before people realise just how much shit he actually does behind his dumb world map of his. Islam is different from Christianity in the way that it is lagging 500 years behind. Other than that it is basically the same. The Bible is full of quotes about how you should kill infidels, gays and witches etc too. Islam is evolving towards the better in one end, and towards something worse in the other end. The first end need a boost because the latter end seems to be gaining momentum. As for PJW. I have seen him bash Islam plenty. Some of it way off the mark, some of it spot on. Any idea or ideal should be open for criticism - that means religion too. If you make a claim that there is some god up in the sky that told you it is ok to blow up infidels, people will be skeptical.I wouldn't call his rants truth though. More like views, and he does present them in a way to make sure he gets noticed. Still, he does make some very good points now and again. He tends to back up his stuff with poll-results and statistics as well. Which means he is actually doing some sort of journalism. Facts are what they are, of course. But they don't always tell the story around them - which is where he tends to fail. It is either cold facts or numbers, and not much about what it causing the facts\numbers. Terrorists are attacking muslims too. No question about it. Terrorism is probably the number one cause of death among muslims these days. Hence why immigrants need to make damn sure their kids don't get radicalized by those nutters after they have made a home for themselves in a safer country. That bit is failing right now because a lot of the recent terrorist attacks were done by second-gen immigrants. Huge warning-sign right there. I have seen him get debunked a few times. Sure. I have also seen a lot of "debunks" that didn't really debunk anything. Like that women + sports thing he did. Someone posted a vid about women being able to outshoot men etc. Which wasn't even a point since his whole point was that men had larger musclemass from the get-go. The whole thing was about physical sports. He also pointed out that women are naturally better at swimming. The debunk video pointed out that women did tend to score better at swimming, which for some reason debunked him - even though he had said exactly the same thing. Stuff like that isn't disproving, it is just denying. I've mentioned how he lies and manipulates information. ii.e, 1/4 Muslims think ISIS should run America = out of a survey of 2000. Basic shit like that. As for that video, you need to watch it again, the argument was that mix gender sports shouldn't happen because men are physically stronger than women, it wasn't about proving a biological fact, it was about making that biological fact as a foundation for sexism. How is it sexism? Because ths fact has made mix gendered sports impossible. Let 'girls be girls'. But that's not the matter here. As for a religion, well Islam is open for criticism whenever you want to. Will you suffer from stigma depending on what you say? Sure, but if you're going to repeat PJW's stuff - which you aren't atm btw - it's going to be recieved with said stigma. This happens with sensitive topics, and hell, Christianity is a sensitive topic in itself so imagine talking about a religion that has become radicalised by a bunch of assholes and because of that, has had major consequences with everyone involved? Talking about it is going to stir controversy, and it's up to the individual to talk about it sensibly. There's no point in getting worked up about discussing the theology of a religion that has been under attack by the likes of Krauts and Tea/PJW/Milo in hopes to fix its errors. That's not going to happen with a religion, the belief is too fundemental. Muslims just ignore it, much like Christians ignore the dumb shit in the Bible And that's just it. Simple truth really, you will never ever get Muslims saying bad shit about their faith because to them, the bad parts are not their faith. So they don't count. Basically.
