Gah, got Destiny 2 yesterday on PC (because I didn't want to pay the extra fees for the network features on PS4 and XBOne), and as a former Destiny PS3 player, I am not yet impressed. I got it because Destiny was such a beautiful game to experience, if a bit brain dead on the story and lore. I've only been playing for a couple of hours, so here are my initial impressions. Technically, running on medium settings with an Xbox One controller plugged in to my 3 year old PC, the game is sharp, gorgeous, and smooth as silk; however the plot appears to be another "chosen one" story (tired of those) and the music selection is not working for me the same way the original one did. I could leave the original on the loading screen, watch the spaceship float in space, and be mesmerized just listening to that audio - Destiny 2 seems a tad more... eh... generic and video-gamey.
