Yeah I think it might have been some origin story for sure. If I know Lynch, he will be dropping more hints here and there but never a full blown explanation. I have a suspicion this whole thing might be linked to Major Briggs, though.

The rest of it I think was Bob being transported back to the Lodge when the doppelganger died.

Since evil Coop is dead now, I wonder what will happen to the good one. I am betting this might cause him to "snap out of it" as it were.

I see people calling this episode brilliant, but I dunno. Looked like some weird student-art-flick to me.

Edit: Come to thing of it that weird, creepy hobo was seen in the jail in episode one. He was sitting there when Matt Lillard got taken into custody.

I thought it was ok but....maybe a whole episode of it was a bit much.

Also Kyle is fucking hot for a 58 year old man. He's in such good shape, no wonder he looks ten years younger.

Oh now I get it.

I guess. But the whole supernatural element plus the way it's hinted at that Cole knows a lot more than what's actually going on seems to suggest that this is the first step into an even bigger revelation.

Still the best scene so far. I am still laughing at this one.

That scene...with the fat old lady in the car, and the sick kid. Holy hell I laughed hard.

I also remembered. In Fire Walk with Me. A kid in The Black Lodge, looks exactly like a young Gordon Cole would look like.

Might be why Cole sees visions. And also why he talks about Spirit stuff now and again. There is also a hobo character in Fire Walk with Me. He is also in the Lodge scenes. Might be the hobo we have seen a bit of this season.

Twin Peaks in general is pretty terrifying. Even in The Return there's been some weird shit that just sticks on you in a way a normal horror movie doesn't manage to even come close to. I'm still a little jarred by that vision Cole had in the episode before. It was just a scene with crappy effects but Lynch *knows* how to work the uncanny.
