Yeah I think it might have been some origin story for sure. If I know Lynch, he will be dropping more hints here and there but never a full blown explanation. I have a suspicion this whole thing might be linked to Major Briggs, though. The rest of it I think was Bob being transported back to the Lodge when the doppelganger died. Since evil Coop is dead now, I wonder what will happen to the good one. I am betting this might cause him to "snap out of it" as it were. I see people calling this episode brilliant, but I dunno. Looked like some weird student-art-flick to me. Edit: Come to thing of it that weird, creepy hobo was seen in the jail in episode one. He was sitting there when Matt Lillard got taken into custody. The Hobos are Bobs helpers (I think). Pretty obvious now since one also appeared in the episode before. As for the episode itself. Well that's the gist of post-modern art, I guess. You either love it, hate it, or are at least curious.
