I just watched this last night and now I seem to remember another movie much like this one where the hero of the movie smashes rows of small TV like screens with people's faces on them and then there is a big final fight just like Equilibrium only they had fancy helicopters and stuff.

No it wasn't that one either. It had a very similar look to EQ and the character played by Christian Bale was also almost the same. Instead of the "father" character they had rows of screens on tables with faces that swivelled to follow you. The end fight in EQ made me think of this but in the other movie they had the fight then he took off in a helicopter to finish off the main bad guy then the credits roll.
