Kind of random but I found this photo and thought it was neat and worth sharing. It's a balloon being shot where the shadow seems to appear before the balloon itself pops


So that isn't photoshopped. What's happening is due to the way a camera takes photos the top of the photo is essentially recorded before the bottom part. This is what is referred to as rolling shutter which makes it appear as if the shadow of the balloon popping is occurring before the balloon appears to pop itself. Basically if something is moving at the same speed or faster then the rolling shutter it can create some really funky visual effects.
