He showed up, regular as clockwork, as soon as someone had a complaint about DA:I. If I remember correctly he did the same when DA2 came out. Always defending the latest product. Another user and I checked his posts earlier this year. He had been defending DA:I for almost 8 hours straight at one point.

That is some seriously dedicated defending of a company.

I mean, at some point don't they realize that a lot of the stuff is opinion based and plenty of people are just legitimately not going to like something?

Fanatic, or paid to do so.

After the whole toggle thing, I'm more inclined to believe fanatic.

At one point I actually applied, although didn't expect to hear back since I lacked experience in my field at the time.

These days I think I'll probably build up enough money and if I want to take a shot at video game development, work on making my own indie studio.

Plus I wouldn't have EA over my head, which is always a bonus.

As for devs, I will always cherish the moment John Epler friended me said that he would always read my posts because he finds them informative and interesting. It didn't last long and he removed me around the time ME3 came out, but still. Memories~

Regarding Allan though, you could see the deterioration in his mental health and temper the longer he stayed on BSN. He went from posting advice and chit chat in my Jagged Alliance 2 Let's Play, to closing down my Last Remnant Let's Play because he believe it was a satire made in "good faith", but was in fact somehow an attempt at destabilizing the forum environment just before the launch of DA:I. I feel bad for him sometimes. 

Dudes a ingrown pube
