One of my crowning achievements on the BSN was derailing a thread to turn it into Bowie love.

The man was a massive part of my life. Hell, I'm not even going to put it in the past tense here, as much as doing so pains me. He still is and I think it's going to be a put Let's Dance on repeat kind of day today. If I wasn't stuck on mobile, I'd be linking music too so let's just pretend I'm linking Modern Love here too cause it needs multiple plays.

Not sure if he was the most human alien of all, or the most alien human of us. I refuse to accept that Bowie has died, and instead believe that he simply went home to sell another world.

A tribute, to the greatest cult artist of all, or the cultiest mainstream artist of all... I don't know how to label him. Then again, Bowie was all about rejecting labels. He could never stay the same, even when he tried, the chameleon that he was.
