Seems legit. Kiri Hart, who was the leader of the story-group, vanished from Lucasfilm very silently earlier this year.

The story-group are a bunch of female feminist bloggers, who was put in charge of keeping the Star Wars universe continuity intact. Together their writing-credentials adds up to 3 tv-show episodes from 2003. That's it. That is their qualification.
First thing they did was to get rid of the old EU because they felt it was convoluted, and that it didn't have strong female characters (it had plenty).  One of them tweeted a pic, before ep 8 was out, where she was drinking from a cup that said "Fanboy Tears" on it. Behind her was a Luke Skywalker poster with a red X painted across it. Plus that whole "The Force is Female" insanity came from those people.

Yes. Them being removed is a good thing. Even Ron Howard said he was a bit taken aback by them when he made Solo. He called them to ask who Emilia Clarke's character was working for was, and the reply he got was "we have no idea". The people who's job it is to know, had no clue. Hence why he added the Darth Maul bit at the end. He just picked one the fans might like to see. 

If they de-canonize the whole retarded Disney canon and start over, yes. 

Meanwhile Lucasfilm are now 5 billion in debt (numbers released recently). Merchandise sales down by 80% in the last two years, and Galaxy's Edge is failing hard.

That one got debunked a few weeks ago. 

The Knights of Ren weren't Luke's students which seemed to be implied by TLJ. I'm guessing the one with the lightsaber is Kylo Ren and will be killed by Ben who takes the saber and the title from him. The synopsis of this is interesting as well, apparently Ben gets pursued by Luke's students after he collapses the hut on Luke because they believe he killed Luke. I'm guessing he's going to kill all of them in self defense and will run to Snoke because Snoke is the only person that will take him in. This iteration of Luke really did fail as a Jedi, his students sought revenge which was not the Jedi way.

I'm almost positive that this is how Palpatine is coming back (this thing/plane of existence is actually what is behind those etchings of the Father, Daughter and Son in the article you linked. Palpatine even attacks Ezra and Ahsoka while they are in that plane after the video ends):

They should have doubled down and made Kylo Ren the antagonist, he was set up as the leader of the First Order, it would have been the perfect culmination of his character arc and he would have stepped out of Vader's shadow. Now he is literally trading one master for another and is going to be Vader/Anakin Mark 2, bleh. I've also seen rumors that they aren't even going to explain how Palpatine survived in the film or that it'll be a very vague explanation, like, you can't just do that with such an important character, lol.
