You phrased it as "An Empire that has fallen to pieces" I apologize if I took that differently from what you had intended but that's how I interpreted it. I imagine the things you want will most likely be explored in movies like Rogue One, and other spin-off books, which it has even been the case for the other films too. Yeah, my bad, I should've been a bit more careful writing that. I don't mind world-building in other movies but please don't let it get to the level of Halo 5 where you need to read everything else to understand half of what's going on in the game. KOTOR 1 also had a story that was based around the spawns of another war, which it weren't to eager to talk about all that much either -- KOTOR 2 goes crazily into detail with that said war, and I imagine it'll be the case here as well. Even A New Hope needed a little time to flesh its universe out. I only ever played Halo 3 and I definitely didn't understand what was going on there, lul -- But yeah, I do agree with you. BioWare has been particularly bad about shuffling its important lore details into obscure comics and books too, then making them integral to the game.
