Well the chances for the PC beeing an android is quite slim. We learn in FO3 that Harkness was a one of a kind synth that actually developed AI, which is why he eventually escaped. They were programmed to obey Zimmer, but they can become self aware. He also states that Armitage the synth he has with him is nothing more than an object to him. Seeing as all this science is done post-war, how could they have done it pre-war? Ofc it can be based on pre-war technology, but i still not likely. Though i think the synth/android whatever you want to call it will be the main theme for the story in Fallout 4, it had a nice build up in FO3 and its interesting subject matter. Having the Railroad battle the Institute for freedom of Synths, while BoS wants to preserve the technology and use it. Maybe Lyons Chapter and Midwest Chapter involved, and possible Alliance with the Outcasts. I'm not fond of android pc...I don't like bots much to be honest. I haven't played FO3 (just New Vegas and I own FO 1 but barely played it ) Thing is I'm not sure I understand the point of creating androids?I mean it's useful if you want to create a super spy... Now if you want robots to fight wars , you don't need them to look human. I can understand the one time experiment in the name of SCIENCE...but then why keep on building some? Besides again why save androids when humanity is still trying to figure out how to survive and rebuild working societies. I can't imagine androids rights being on the top of my priority list when there's barely any human's right left. Anyway I know I'm biaised with my dislike of androids but erf...
