The romance aspect in Dragon's Dogma is terrible though, if only because it's a feature, seemingly added on by Capcom, in accordance with filling out a cheeksheet for generic fantasy RPGs, so if she's looking for that then she should skip by DD--Capcom games are all generally, reliably, retardedly written but that tends to make them endearing, especially when they are being campy about it. If she's looking for vast customization and excellent gameplay, however, then DD is the game. Enh... I'd say the writing tends to dip towards bad but it has the moments of just great dialogue, from Grigori or at the end of the main game or Bitterblack Isle.
