This show is crazy good, I went in with no knowledge of the character and didn't expect to care for it at all, but it blew me away. I guess some part of me knew it would be good, just because Marvel hasn't fucked around with these shows. It's sad, actually. DC made bad movie after bad movie, and once they finally found their niche with shows on the CW, Marvel just goes "Bitch, please!" with their Netflix offerings and shits on The Flash and Arrow with C-list characters that no one's ever heard of. Sorry, DC, you lose again. C-list characters for Marvel? Most of the names are pretty big. David Tennant's a pretty big name (he was the Doctor after all, and probably the most loved of the renewed series. It's only going to get bigger after Jessica Jones (I'm willing to say he's the best Marvel villain thus far put on screen). Carrie-Anne Moss is pretty big. Krysten Ritter is a well known enough tv actress, especially after this (and a memorable turn on Breaking Bad). Rachael Taylor has some prestige to her name as well. And there was no bad acting in it at all. Every single person, every character, every part, all had a significant role to play, and they were all effective. Arrow is also a lot better than Agents of Shield. That's the only one I don't really like. I still haven't seen Agent Carter yet. I'm willing to give it a try, but I don't think it'll compare to Jessica Jones. I said characters, not actors. To a real Marvel fan, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage may all be familiar faces, but they aren't exactly household names to the average joe.
