So my fav characters were easily Majima and Sagawa. Kiryu still hasn't really won me over but he's got 5 games of content so plenty of development there. Sera was cool and my favourite from the Dojima Lieutenants was Awano. Shimano Shrek seems really interesting, and I saw his ugly face in the next game's trailer so that should be fun. Tachibro and Makato are of course, really cool and both must be protected but Oda really hit it off with me. I guess I have a thing for scum in fiction. There was a few things I thought was basically prequel nostalgia stuff (like R2D2 in Episode 1 and shit). Ryuji Goda looks like he'll come up later, and so does the woman from the strip joint. Stuff I'd like to see in the next game is more female characters who aren't there to fulfil the 'must protect' role (but seriously we must all protect Makoto and Yuki). My fav minigame was the Karaoke cos CINDERELLAAAAAAAAA. I hope there's more than just one song for each guy in the next few games. Never really cared for the other stuff (pool, darts, cart racing) but I do hope the business quests (if there are any) become less of a grind. Overall I preferred Majima's more hands-on stuff (plus loved the makeovers) than Kiryu's grind, plus humanising the Carabet Girls was a great thing to do even if some of them fill into generic stereotypes. From the girls I did train 100% (Yuki, Hibiki, Ai, and Saki) my favs were Yuki and Hibiki. Music was sick, but only a few tracks will stick with me. Mainly the opening, the end credits, and SUNSHINE FEVER and The music in the last Kuze fight Boss fights were very special. I found them a lot easier than mob fights so maybe next time I play a Yakuza game I'll set the difficulty on hard. Mob fights with Kiryu were impossible, but with Majima every flowed smoothly. I'm convinced it was a bug tho since Majima's heat bar never rose after a certain point and mobs sometimes just stood there with their fists up. For the final styles Mad Dog > Dragon of Dojima Uhhh... Again, rendered cutscenes were gorgeous and I love that Japanese games don't need to be fully VA'd because that means resources can be kept for when it counts like *drumrolls* those fucking rendered cutscenes and also the transition between said cutscenes and gameplay being almost flawless. Loved the 'love' thing was reversed in this game. I'm not gonna give Yakuza 0 a fucking medal for the best handling of female characters in a video game ever, but that was great and showed just what kind of a prick Shimano is. 'Nuff said for now. Oh an animations were soliiiiiiiid
