Correction. The book is a 1-2ed book, when it comes to the rules. But that is easy for a DM to convert. I think a quick Google search for a conversion table is all that is needed.

I honesty don't know. I only wrote lore and designed the adventure module in it. I didn't do any of the "rules stuff" in it.

I am going to be as non-EA as possible here (means being honest). My guess is that it won't convert well to 5th edition at all. And absolutely not 4th edition.

BUT you can certainly use the setting bit from the book with any ruleset. And The storymodule is usable as well. You just need to stuff 5th edition monsters in there instead of the ones in the book. Things like that. But a simple and easy straight conversion might not be possible.


Then again I may be wrong and it can convert easily. I wouldn't bet on it though.

I did some checking up, and I have a better reply for you. Converting to 5th edition isn't difficult at all, it seems. You just use the 5ed monster manual to replace the monsters in the module. Most share names, after all.

As for the NPC's and villains with a certain class, you do that the same way. Level 13 fighter = level 13 5ed fighter.

The lore and all that (which is 90 percent of the book anyway) is useable with any edition.
