I had a few fun posts over the years.
The Song Parody thread was a lot of fun. And the "Bioware, Let's Talk About..." threads became almost hilarious in the amount of copycats it spawned, completely unintentionally.
I think my favorite, though, was in the DA:I forums, pre-release, after many weeks of a "Women's Role in the World of Thedas" thread devolving into absolute total drivel to read (let alone participate in), someone decided to post a "Men's Role in the World of Thedas" thread as well.
This started out funny and cheeky, but quickly became an ugly copy of the Women's thread, with the same garbage discussions and arguments raging. So, in retaliation, I wrote up, in huge 1000+ word detail, multiple posts such as "Animals Role in the World of Thedas," "Plants Role in the World of Thedas" and, my personal favorite, "Rocks Role in the World of Thedas." There were (I think) seven of these threads that I wrote up beforehand and, within a five minute span, posted into the DA:I forum.
The results were humorous. Mods came in and thought about trying to lock them, but then were confused if I was serious or not. Gaider replied to my "Trees Role in the World of Thedas" thread with a statement along the lines of "you've obviously put a lot of thought into this, but I'm not sure the number of topics you are posting is appropriate..."
Of course, Stanley Woo Tang Clan unilaterally gave me a 48 hour ban and then deleted all of my threads except the Animal one, which was locked. Don't ask me the logic on all that.
Still, one of the things that I thought was hilarious and yet, like so many things, was only a brief shooting star before it was lost to the darkness.
