Damn, I didn't think this would ever happen. Didn't all the original code supposedly get lost somewhere ages ago, making a re-release like this practically impossible? I think I still have the physical copy somewhere if I dig through my drawers, not sure if it would run if installed via them anymore though. I think it was 4 CD's for the entire game (which you had to swap between at points). Probably my first ever experience of playing something that leans so heavily on story, back in like 98 or 99. I have the big-box version. A budget-release, though. If you like games that lean heavily on story, you might like the Blackwell series. I can't recommend it enough. It is on sale on GoG right now. I already have all of them waiting for me in my backlog. Along with Unavowed, Technobabylon, Shardlight and Primordia, which I'd all count as being in roughly the same genre (at least based on what I know about them ahead of time). Other fairly recent games that fall into the same category but that I've actually played are Gemini Rue, Resonance and Kathy Rain. I'd recommend giving them a try, if you haven't already.
