Fashion thread, yay.  I order a lot of my clothing off of Etsy.com, great for something handmade and unique, of a better quality than you usually find in stores. Asos.com is great for rare designer finds with a less terrifying price tag. I use Pattyboutik to find affordable staple pieces, and then I dress them up for a little flair. My style tends towards the romantic and whimsical. I love corsets and lace, embellished heels, but have a lot of classic staples to tie all that together. I have not one, not two, but three different little black dresses. I usually prefer silver to gold when it comes to jewelry, and my Swaroski pendant collection grows about one per year. Of the designer labels I can occasionally afford, Michael Kors might be my favorite. Of the ones I definitely can't, it's probably Oscar de la Renta or Dolce and Gabbana. My biggest closet essentials are my little black dress, classic matte leather pumps, simple soft cotton fitted v neck tee, leather motorcycle jacket, dark wash skinny jeans, white button up shirt, pinstripe pencil skirt, and ballet flats. I dress that up with glitz and color. Mostly soft blues, periwinkle, lilac, cobalt. I also love deep red and green. |
