What I don't like about it is the potential for missing out on extra dialogue with the followers; It's my understanding there were talks of extra dialogue, I feel like there should be some sort of compensation for its removal.
It all reminds me of Yakuza 3, which is the prime example of the worst kind of censorship-- Sega decides to remove integral content, like the hostess clubs and other 'japanese-related" material because it might go 'over-the-head' of westerner customers, forgetting the fact that Yakuza is solely designed/marketed aimed towards an audience that craves an accurate portrayal of Japan so the censorship was contemptuous.
The stupid mini-game certainly won't be missed--it's just a shame that it inevitably means lesser content is all.
