Hi, I'm Jorji; I posted mostly on Off Topic and the ME story forums (especially during the heydey of the ME3 ending fiasco). I teach philosophy as an adjunct at a couple different colleges, I watch lotsa movies (old movies, blockbusters, foreign movies, etc.), and I play vidya games when I get the chance. That's my total life story right there; nothing else you'll need to know about me ever again. Do you watch anime and/or read manga? I haven't read any manga, and I've only seen two anime films: Akira and Ghost in the Shell. Akira was interesting, but probably had too much going on relative to its running time. Also, a lot of the dialogue consisted of the characters saying each others' names really loudly: (i.e. "TETSUOOO!!!!" KANEDAAA!!!!"). Ghost in the Shell I liked less, but there's no denying that it's had a lot of influence on stuff I do enjoy (for instance, Deus Ex ripped "Thermoptic Camouflage" straight out of this movie), so there's that. |
